Ekhaya Biltong is a family-run business, set in the heart of Wales. Born and raised in the land-locked Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Southern Africa, we grew up eating biltong. Having moved to Wales over ten years ago, we missed that distinctive flavour of home and so Ekhaya (meaning ‘home’) Biltong was born. Now working in the health and fitness industry and in agricultural research, producing this high protein snack from locally sourced beef cattle is very important to us.
Biltong is enjoyed by millions throughout Southern Africa. Made purely from seasoning and then air-drying meat, this tasty snack is 100% natural and is gaining popularity amongst health enthusiasts and within the fitness industry. Ekhaya Biltong is committed to using high-quality, locally produced, PGI certified beef which has full traceability. Having grazed on the lush pastures along the West Wales coastline, the beef we use has a sweet, succulent flavour, which is essential to our biltong.
